What is FERPA?
- Please call your therapist to cancel your session if you child is ill: history of fever of 101°F in the past 24 hrs, contagious illness (such as: pink eye, flu, chicken pox, strep throat, whooping cough, croup, measles, mumps, roseola, bronchitis, etc), diarrhea, vomiting, severe cough/cold or impetigo. Think about this: if you wouldn't send your child to school, cancel the therapy session.
- Please see this website for more information.
How can I cancel a session?
- Please call your therapist directly if for any reason during your services you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. She/He will give you the best number to reach her/him when she/he calls to schedule your first visit.
- Your therapist will make a good-faith effort to reschedule a cancelled session if given 24 hours notification before scheduled appointment; however, the MCIU does not require that missed sessions are made-up.
